Looking f. similar: B.J.Thomas \"Raindrops....\"

I received a CD from a friend with several songs, one of them is "Raindrops falling on my head", now what I am looking for - since this song might be older than I am - other similar songs that fit into this timespan and style.

Who can point me in the right direction?

When I was very little, my brother had BJ Thomas on 8 track. I like the second song.

I believe BJ Thomas' other big song was "Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song". If that isn't the title, at least it is a direct line from the lyrics. From the mid-70's.
