New Olight lights at IWA 2016 (S1A, S2A, R50, X7)

Olight S1A and S2A.

S1A: 1x AA or 14500.
S2A: 2x AA

Same optic as the S1

Olight R50
Smaller than the previous R40 with slightly larger head. Probably a XHP-50 led (~2500 lumens). Charging base.

All specs are NOT final.

S1A looks very interesting. R50 by its large emitter and orange peel reflector is a flood light -- not my kind :)

Nice find kj2. Both S1A and S2A seems interesting for me but I want to see the full specs, of course. The S2A comes with a 2xAA body and not an extension tube anymore. Same as FourSevens QT2A which is one of my few 2xAA lights. Will keep an eye on this. Thanks once again...

Thanks for posting the video of the S1A and S2A... As a fan of the S1 and S2 - the S1A interests me... I want to see the lumen output and runtimes though.... Pocket clip is still that same poorly designed one used on the other lights...

Olight S1A

Thanks for the info. Ive been looking for an AA light with NoPWM and High CRI. Was tempted by the Zebra SC5fc, but it uses PWM.

Otoh, the S1 has Low CRI.

Can I have a Copper S1a with a Nichia like the Astrolux A01 please?:)

Here is the latest 2016 Olight video from the IWA show:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0_nausqCFw

The L5 Pro is stated as having 3200 lumens and appears to have an XHP70 LED.

There is a newer version of the R40 with 2500 lumens from what appears to be an XHP50 LED. It is also a bit shorter than the current R40.

Some new headlamps too.

Good stuff coming ahead this year for Olight!

To me, it isn't a light that should've a ML mode. It's more a working light for LE or security. Yes, 50 lumens is still bright up close.

Really 1500 lumens for almost 2 hrs ? Is that possible ? , comparing my mmu x3 similar battery. That is a big jump in led efficiency if its true ?
