Joey's husband, Rory, has announced the loss of his wife and partner of the country music duo "Joey and Rory" with these words.
"My wife's greatest dream came true today. She is in Heaven."

She was only 40 years old, but fought a battle against cancer for the last couple of years.

Not so well-known over here in the UK, but appreciated nonetheless.

A sad end to a story of beauty and tragedy both.
(There's a toddler involved - it's so unfair ...).
