Hi all - I have a similar post over in the Prometheus sub-forum, but decided that some of you might not visit there regularly. This is just a quick beam shot comparison of some fairly popular lights, including the awesome Prometheus Alpha
Camera is a Canon 40D, shutter color temp locked at 5000k, shutter at 6/10, f7.1, IS01000. All lights at their max settings. Distance to shed approximately 50 feet
Control - daylight - sun setting off to the right of the shot
Control - night - light pollution from lights outside building (12V warm LEDs, plus the bedroom window off to the left)
Just for grins - Lumintop Tool (copper) with Nichia 219B
Old faithful - HDS Rotary Tactical with XPG2
Armytek Prime C2 with warm XPL
Zebralight SC62w
And the Prometheus Alpha with MCE Neutral emitter
