Hi,

My Sens AA gets ridiculously hot with an Energiser Lithium primary battery. After five minutes or so, it is painful to hold. Anyone else experienced this? There are no problems with alkaline batteries. The same battery works fine in my Olight S15 and Eagletac D25.

Never tried my Sens AA with a Lithium primary. They have a higher nominal voltage than alkalines and I'm guessing the boost circuit doesn't have current limiting built in so you are probably over-driving the LED. I'd stick with NiMH and Alkaline for this particular flashlight.
