Interesting Find- Maglite 2C LED

Found this while digging around the local W-mart.

I couldn't identify the LED used as the top was obfuscated (which was pretty weird).
It looks quite... stubby. IPX4 isn't exactly great waterproofing and 177 lumens isn't exactly bright, but I wonder if it would make a decent host. For under $20 it might be worth a shot.

Interesting. The Mag site does not list the emitter either could really be almost anything. Old Cree XP-G maybe? 25373k CD is very good for 177 lumens and hey they price is awesome.

My search-fu must have been weak- it turned up mostly "can I turn this old light into LED" threads.

VoB modded one? I can imagine it already. XD
