If it's on the outside of the flashlight, and you can easily remove it without tools, it's probably a sticker to indicate LED output color.

That's so you know the LED is white. They do the same for the A2...like you can get a red dot for an A2 with red LEDs. As of right now, there aren't any other colors for the L4 though, that i know of.

Theorectically, they can make L4s in green, blue, and white.
As far as I'm aware, Lumileds does not make a 5W LS in NUV, violet, yellow, amber, orange, orangish-red, or red.
Just green, blue, royal blue (maybe), and white.
