Thrunite 1Av3 versus 1Av2 - My Opinion

For the record, if anyone is thinking about upgrading their Archer 1A, I thought I'd share my experience. I recently picked up a Thrunite 1Av3 in neutral white to compare to my 1Av2 nw, and although I like some of the features on the V2 better (like the better pocket clip and stainless steel bezel), I have to say the quality of the beam itself, and the color rendition of the v3 is head and shoulders above the v2. The v3 is also just a little smaller than the v2 which makes it carry ever so slightly better in the pocket.

I would NOT choose the v3 over the v2, based on small size difference.
I WOULD choose the v2 over the v3 for the pocket clip and stainless bezel.
BUT, the beam is so much nicer in color and perceived brightness on the v3 that I HAVE chosen the v3 over the v2 for my edc flashlight. So there you have it...

Got one as well and consider 1A v3 and Fujitsu FDK HR3U 2700mAh an excellent combination.

After two failed v2 models I have ordered my v3 in hopes of a better overall experience. I will miss the stainless bezel, it was a nice touch on the v2....maybe a v4 in the future??
