Who needs to see the light at the end of the tunnel when you have friends on CPF?

I do. When I first get them, obviously I take them out to inspect and to also play for a bit. Then it goes back in the box typically when the next one arrives. Mind you. These are all acquired on the secondary market. I was a little late to the 47s collecting game and I terribly regret getting rid of some of my original acquisitions.

The Lovely Mrs Gardiner and I took some time yesterday to dust and relocate the lights to a new location. Sorry for the subpar photograph. The shelf is located in a dark corner of the room sans much natural illumination.

The first step is admitting you have a problem.
The second step is transferring your problems to other people with problems.![]()

It was mid November, 2016, when a gentleman, CPF member from the great state of Texas offered to share (sell) the above pictured Quarks. When I open the package I was amazed to find the S12. Brother from Texas gifted it as a Christmas present.![]()

After many years of searching - A Polished 4Sevens Tuxedo arrived in today's mail. Once again I'm humbled by the generosity of fellow flashaholics.

I know. Right? I was also amazed when it was offered to me. I've only seen one picture of one, and have been informed by a CPF member that David only produced satin Tuxedos. Not knowing any better, I decided the one that I had seen was a lego. Thanks for the reply. I really enjoy sharing this hobby of ours.
As I was preparing to open the jewel case and present the new Tuxedo to The Lovely Mrs. Gardiner, I was making some anticipatory, angelic music with my vocal cords. My better 3/4's looked at me and laughingly stated - "You are so weird!"![]()

This is a page from 4sevens “first/original?” catalog. Looks like it was offered or going to be offered. It seems as though the satins were only offered.

Got a chance to use one of these that have CPF engrave on it. An atom A0 I believe. Mule type , titanium.

fordcappy, The links are broken. I clicked on all of them, but nothing happened. I'll probably try again later.Still, it sure is a beautiful piece of art. Clicking around yesterday, I wasn't able to find much of anything on the polished Tuxedo. However, the gentleman that sold stated that he had two. So, I'm not sure they didn't actually offer a limited run of Polished Tuxedos.
Rstype, That's a beauty and a great piece of CPF/Foursevens history.![]()

Left to right - Polished Titanium prototype / Solid Brass prototype / Polished Titanium production / Cheap, Powder Blue Tuxedo lego* / Satin Titanium Tuxedo / Polished Titanium Tuxedo
* If you were a groomsman back in the 80's, you probably wore a cheap, powder blue tuxedo.
