Really would need a driver. Max forward voltage of the 6V XHP50 is 6.3 volts and doubled it would be 12.6V which is well under the 16.8 from 4 series 18650. If you run 2 12V XHP50 you would required a forward voltage of 24V. Can you not run 2S2P with the cells and run the XHP50s (6V) in parallel with a buck driver?

Any option work for me, Maybe I explain wrong, but this was my idea, run 2s2p Leds with 4 18650 in serie

Mountain electronics has drivers that will handle the voltage and slow you to do that given the right host. But you cannot run them direct drive, too much voltage.

can you explain more of what you're trying to do?

Yup, with the appropriate driver should work fine.

You planning on using a FET based driver? Linear? CC?

There used to be a guy here that posted wiring diagrams for using the 7135 base drivers to drive loads like that, dropping the voltage on the load side like you talking about. I think it was member download?

Kudos for thinking "outside the box"!
