Ikea has got some new NiMH AAA batteries with higher capacity and LSD capability.

Compared to the fabled eneloops are they any good.

They seem to be made in Japan also. Perhaps rebadged?

They look to be the same as the black eneloops.

That's great news. At present, at least, these batteries are significantly less expensive than Eneloop Pro. I bought a dozen Ikea Ladda AA 1000 for use in remote controls. The Ladda 1000 is thought to be the equivalent of an Eneloop Lite.

I had got some a few weeks ago. They still had stacks of the 500mAh ones there and hidden behind where was a single box of the 900mAh. As soon as I saw made in Japan, straight in the basket.
