hi. just curious how LEO's especially carry their flashlights in their holster.
is it bezel up ?, or bezel down?
why?.
its because i see some pictures with the light facing up, and some down.

bezel up would be easier right?
especially with a strike bezel?.
or in a kydex hoster?

thanks.

Bezel up with many lights gives you more surface area to grab in a rapid deployment scenario.

Plus if the duty belt has a 'ring' for holding the flashlight, the larger than the hole bezel keeps it from falling through the hole.

Bezel down is favoured from a tactical point of view, you don't have to turn the flashlight around to use it.

Just grab it and you're good to go.

I wouldn't want a strike bezel on a duty use flashlight, we get issued other tools for striking with.

Same bezel down in a kydex holster. I def find it easier to use and take out. You already have the body and tailcap in your hands. With bezel up, you have to switch it around.
