A year ago I asked for suggestions for my first LED flashlight and decided on the P36. That was an excellent flashlight and I would be lost without it. I just hope it doesn't stop working anytime soon but I'd get another one for sure.
Same thing with your suggestions with batteries and I learned a lot. I decided on the Simon 18650s and they're going strong still.
This flashlight has the right amount of throw and flood plus 10 lumen levels (2 to 2000) that made it the EDC stuff.
