Hey Mike-questions about Inretech 2AA adapter

Mike-or anyone-some questions
1. How much voltage-or is it current I should be concerned about- can the LD Lux emitter safely take?
2. If lithium AAs are actually 1.7v, as I've read,could your adapter be powered by 3 NiMh rechargeables in a 3toD adapter-3.6v?
3.Is it resistored?
4.Is there any way you know to add heatsinking to the adapter?
5.Are there different optics available?
I just got the adapter on Friday, and it's OK. Now ,of course, I want to play. I have some DMag and MM components around. Thanks,

I also have some questions regarding this mod.

1. I can't understand the numbers on the tech spec page. Could someone please explain what they represent?

2. What type of leds do you use in terms of bin, tint, etc. I don't want to end up with a light that has more off colors than white.
