Pelican 1810 water resistance question

Hello all, first time poster here...
I've got a tiny Pelican 1810 with an ipx4 rating that I wear on a necklace. My question is would it be OK to wear in the shower? I don't want to ruin it but I'd like to not have to worry about taking it off either. Thanks!

IPX4 is supposed to allow for Spray. You'll probably have the light hanging lense down and that can only help. I would be more concerned about soap and detergents. Keep the o-rings lubed. Towel dry and blow it off and that shouldn't be a problem either.
