China Direct Ship: Anyone every try this?

Has anyone ever tried this? Is this for real?

There is currently a China based seller on a major auction site offering (for example) Fenix pd35 bundled with a 2300ma 18650 and single stage charger / all in Fenix original packaging shipped direct from Shenzen, China for less than 1/2 of the current US based Fenix Store prices.

I tried a similar deal-ee-oh once. Actually they were genuine items too... (by a differing brand)...
All was going well until I got a certified letter from a US government agent from a department I won't name,...
But they wanted to hear my side of the story...
As it turns out I was buying stolen (from the manufacturer) flashlights.

Seller was on eBay and Amazon under several names.

Then you have the 'gray market' where there's a 50/50 chance it's a fake. But if you luck out and get a real one good luck ever getting a warranty claim through...
