Interesting form factor: 2 x 18650 without a "turbo" head, and in series as opposed to the Fenix LD50 and Klarus RS30.

Why still go with a 3V led I wonder? Being they are running two cells in series they could have gone with the xhp50 and had over 2k lumen in a compact form. Using a TIR optic I would think would help with the dark spot in the center of the beam.
