DAMN IT!

I just missed out on an ebay bargain by one dollar for a Surefire L4 Lumamax 5 watt unit, BY ONE DOLLAR!
Bidding was up to $125.

Can anyone please tell me where I can buy this flashlight at a reasonable price?

If you were willing to pay $1.00 more, then you shoudl have put your bid in at $1.00 higher. I am guessing that you got "sniped."

If you always enter the maximum amount that you will pay, you will NEVER loose unless the item goes for more than you can afford -- in which case you will not complain about it...

Better yet, use your own sniping software or service, there a bunch out there. Sniping rather than bidding directly reduces price inflation since putting your max bid in at ebay allows ebay to automatically increase the bid in response to other bidders, who may come back around and bid again. But if everyone sniped then your "max" bid would be just that, no second chances.
