Still here, folks.

This light is an amazing thrower. It looks like a tractor beam.

Milky's driver is very efficient, very versatile levels. Just a joy to take it out for a walk.

When I say it looks like a tractor beam, that might be misleading.

The beam is sort of similar to the SF LX2 or M3LT, but the hot spot is larger, but maybe more intense than the M3LT, and the spill is brighter, but a little narrower. Scott said it's an ideal spotting beam, with great throw combined with enough flod to show context, so you're not following the bouncing ball.

Price reduced for a quick sale on this amazing, useful light for a quick sale. Why? Because I love you people. Now someone needs to buy it soon, before I change my mind.

How do you change interfaces?

Can you clarify the modes a little bit.

Thanks

Re: Milkyspit-modded Surefire M3 (price reduced)

Here goes:

Tactical UI: One Press from off always come on Max Max. Click--press (One short on long press) from off: High (~167 lumens). click-click-press: Medium (~25 lumens I think). Click-click-click-press: Min. Click click click click press: Strobe.

Standard UI: Mode memory; click-press to cycle through the same modes as above.

There's a couple more UIs in there that I don't use. I'd have to go back and try them. You can play and find the UI you like; I use Tactical.

20 clicks to change UIs.

Also, "Miser Mode," designed for if you find yourself in a jam and you need to save your batteries. All modes look half as bright, but runtime is five times longer. 40 clicks to toggle Miser on and off.

It's a lot simpler in practical use.

Does that help?

Huh. Still here.

You know, I put four lights up for sale. This is the one I'd miss most, and it's taking the longest to sell. Go figure.

Why is this light still here?

In the interest of science, I'm dropping the price to $250.

I thought some old-time like me would appreciate this light.

Guys, Milky's lights are among the most sophisticated, efficient, reliable lights out there.

As a public service, I've lowered the price one more time.

$210.

You know, I'm selling this light for the money, and because I mostly use smaller lights now, but this light has an amazing bean and a sophisticated brain and I'd be happy keeping it in my collection.
