Tk41c, thoughts?

Lately I've realized I have so many excess Eneloops I might as well put them to use in a format I don't have - 8x AA.

It seems like kind of a weird, niche layout and obviously there aren't a ton of lights like this but the TK41C seems decent...maybe not as much as the previous ones, but a good thrower nonetheless.

Any thoughts on this light or others in the 8x AA format?

Seems pretty nice although I personally wish the emitter was something larger to give the beam a wider profile. And maybe a very finely stippled reflector.

This could be a really really good signaling/warning light though. Basically looks like the cops are there with the red/blue flashing modes.

JK...looks like a neat option, but honestly I'd probably only use it rarely.

It throws nearly 1600 ft, so that is a plus.
