I have a SF M6 and I just purchased a SF L6 (I just wanted the KL-6 for the M6 but the price wasn't much different) anyway when I put the KL-6 on the M6 I wanted to put the M6 turbo head on the L6 (creating a M3T really) - Can I do it just by changing the bulb on my newly created M3T or should I just buy the KT-4 turbo conversion kit (which I would rather not do for another 168 bucks.) Thanks, Rich

The turbohead is the correct part but different LA (bulbs)
are needed to run it on the three-cell body.
It would be silly to buy a set that included a Turbohead
and two LA when all you really need are new LA.
(I think you need the MN15 LOLA and MN16 HOLA
- someone correct me if I have the wrong numbers)

The KL6 will also give you extended run-time when used
on your M6 body! I think that it also looks very much
like a Jedi light-saber. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Have fun mixing and matching!

scrappy,
Welcome to CPF!
You can use the MN15. MN16 or the N2. The MN15 & MN16 have oval beams. The N2 has a round beam.
MN15 = 125 lumens
MN16 = 225 lumens
N2 = 105 lumens

Thank you guys, just saved me about 150 bucks or so. I just got into this and am doing alright. I bought 2 SFE1E's, E2E, Aviator A2, M6, L6, C3 (with Kl-3 head), a pelican m6 and some 2AA mags, oh yeah and a Inova x5t. These lights are so cool. Saving up for the new Arc 4. Can't wait.
