Didn't Acebeam advertise a Torch before at 10,000 Lumens and it was around 6,000?

That was the X60M, which was still amazing output at the time at around 6500. Fast forward 2 years from its release and pop can lights are beating it straight from the factory. The chase for lumens is rapidly becoming limited by heat and run time.

This light seems much closer to the factory specs than the X40M, and the size will help the heat and the battery life.

I haev already done preliminary testings but its already kicking ass with DriverVNX2. We can say 11,000 Lumen at least. Throws like crazy. Will measure later. Still trying to push on Thanksgiving sale so progress will move slowly.

Emphasis added, that is what is going to make this light great.

Great combination of power and throw, and plenty of usable spill, too. Short, medium and long range under control, in one package. The light is large, in order to have both great throw and great power at the same time.

Wow, this one is going to be unique! Amazing numbers.

Not bad for a keychain light.

Now we're talking! The best light is the one you have with you. Love those keyring flashlights!

Say? Is that a X65vn in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

600K Lux is very, very high for this power classification. I do not think any other superpower led light can come near this throw classification. Very high throw combined with nice power is this lights' forte. I see much bigger superpower lights coming and already extant, but this item has more killer throw. Exactly what I am looking for.

OK so it seems there might be 3 versions

    1. A budget version with DriverVNX2 ~ 11,000 Lumen $515
    2. DriverVNX2 + Battery circuit protection delete ~ 11,600 Lumen $550
    3. DriverVNX2 + LG 3500mAh + Upgraded thermal paste + MCPCB copper contact polished, +12k Lumen & also less output sag + NW XHP35 if desired $650

Lets do a quick count which one you guys would go for personally. I will likely provide just 2 option for production. I have 5 sitting here for batch one. Nothing is yet set in stone.

I know it throws 165K (I mean 600K) lux, but it's still a flooder. It's important to get neutral white in a flooder so you won't feel light you're in a blue ocean. Plus, this needs all the heat sinking it can get!
    Spec 3 NW.

My guess is most will go all out on this for spec 3 but a budget option might be good for some too.

I would offer budget option and fully loaded option. Either way I would at least go for a NW led for the light.

Instead of LG 3500's would it work better with 30Q's or VTC6 for voltage sag?

I guess I just did the math and 12k lumens for 8 cells is only 1500 lumens per cell, so maybe it's not really pushing the cells as hard as I was thinking.

    What would you do?

Thinking of picking up this light but debating about waiting for a 2017 version of the RC40 from Fenix that hopefully can be modded to use xhp35 hi. Would you pick up the X65vn or wait for the potential RC40?

    Thanks
