SOLD

I never thought I would sell this beauty but need funds for other projects.
It is in excellent shape, no scratches, dents, unused.. it's been sitting on a shelf and is in great condition, as seen in the photos.

Comes with the original box and accessories. No batteries.

Here is a description of this unique piece from the Abel catalog:

The "marriage" of Abel and SureFire was natural: both companies are noted for precision machine work and uncompromising quality. Founded in 1979 - about the same time as Abel - their ever-expanding family of high intensity handheld lights has made SureFire synonymous with the best illumination tools the world has to offer.

Abel is always committed to providing its customers with the best available and highest-quality tools.
It is in that spirit that we havepartnered with SureFire® to create a line of flashlights that both meets the demanding requirements of SWAT teams, and still has thebeauty and aesthetics of a custom finished Abel Reel.

The SureFire LX2 model has a high-powered LED with two output levels, one for extended run time, andanother for maximum light output – ten times brighter than a 2-D Cell flashlight. This feature can be quickly activated by pushing thetwo-stage pushbutton tail cap: press and hold for a momentary 15 Lumen beam, press harder to bring the output up to 200 lumens. For continuous light, merely twist the tail cap in a bit for the lower setting, farther for a powerful beam.

Light is contained in a high-strength aerospace aluminum body.
•Smoothed edges to prevent hooking and snagging on clothing.
•The virtually indestructible LED emitter is regulated to maximize output and runtime.
•Weatherproof O-ring and gasket sealing.
•Two output levels—high for maximum light, low for extended runtime.
•TIR lens produces a tight beam and still enough surround light for peripheral vision.
•Coated tempered window resists impact, maximizes light.
•Two-stage tactical tail cap switch—press for momentary-on low, press further for high, twist for constant-on at either level.

I'm not a fisherman but for some reason seeing the photos of that light always makes me smile. :)

Thanks Magellan, it is a real (not reel ;-) conversation piece, not to mention the perfect light to bring out in the wild! If I did not need funds for other projects I would totally keep it. Photos don't do justice to this beauty, one has to see it from close to appreciate
Hope it finds a good home

If it had some scratches I'd be all over it. Too nice for me to mess it up :)

I believe the design was handpainted, from Abel artist Derek DeYoung - just like their reels
not sure what they used to finish the light but it is for sure a work of art

Nick
Finish feels super grippy. Finish is matte, sticks to the hand
I can almost hold it at a 90 degree angle and it sticks to my hand
See picture..
Ready for a fishing trip or the outdoor!
