I bought one SC600 MKIII a month ago, and another last week: they have markedly different tailcaps. One has the standard coil spring, the other has four pogo pins. Does anyone know why the difference in the exact same model light? Or what are the pros and cons of each? Thanks!

I thought they were all pogo pins. Did you buy one used? Any chance someone swapped the tailcap off of an older SC600 light?

As for pros/cons, pogo pins carry more current but springs allow for more cell size flexibility.

No, I bought them both new directly from Zebralight. . . .
