Wow, that is a big design change. Nice find, my very first 18650 light was a Dereelight DBS V2 with a Cree XR-E neutral white pill in it.

DBS comes to life! I always liked it. DBS was a reference in it's day. I was also my first 18650 light and l still have the V3 (although the original MC-E pill died).

these will put out as much as any Surefire other than Dominator

The first DBS was 10 years ago as the first true led thrower.
