Armytek Viking XP-L V3 advice....flickering

Just got my new Viking pro, it is flickering in high turbo and fades, occasionally switches off when I go from main setting back to turbo. Also it says in hunting mode turn 1/8th, gives you access to 2xfirefly 3xmain, mine has a strobe attatched as well, now most of the time the strobe is there in the cycle, but occasionally not.

Is it advisable to clean threads? If so any advice would be good, but I haven't any flashlight silicone only plumbers silicone. Feel let down by armytek recently, 3 tiaras flickering and playing up and now this.

You can try cleaning everything with rubbing alcohol. That has sometimes cleared up issues like that for me in the past. Definitely a good idea to clean all the contacts and everything out.

Don't use silicone. As it says in the owners manual, use a polyalphaolefin-silica grease on threads and o-rings, like Nyogel 760G
