I bought a Headlamp off ebay, just like this one. The batteries don't really last long, maybe 1-3hrs at best on high-low settings, since it only has High, low, and blinking as settings on it.They also use 2x18650 battieres. So I was thinking of getting either "http://www.mtnelectronics.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=59_88&product_id=467", or "http://www.mtnelectronics.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=59_88&product_id=219."

If I did something wrong in posting, please correct me =/ Trying to get good bang for the buck while getting good quality batteries that will last long in the flashlight, lots of people selling fakes on ebay and some on amazon.(batteries) Any ideas? I like the flashlight, just the batteries don't really last long, I also was going to get a charger just to charge the batteries, been using that crappy charger that came with the headlamp and the crappy ultrafire rofl.

They are both quality cells and mountain electronics are a trusted dealer but only have medium capacity at 2500 mAh -

For the best bang for your buck and long runtimes go for the panasonic ncr18650b 3400mAh cells.[ just be aware all these cells are unprotected]

The Ultrafire cells pictured are junk and of un known capacity which will give terrible run times.

http://www.mtnelectronics.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=79&product_id=591Thanks for your input. I noticed that the Ultrafire batteries that came with the flashlight were fake, as there are tons of them on ebay, I bet there are true Ultrafire but eh, trying to find good quality batteries so I can use my Flashlight for long hours, these die on me really fast, usually 1-3hrs on Hi-bright, or 3-5hrs on Low(less light but eh better than nothing Lol). I was also going to purchase a charger for these, wanted to get something that would auto-shut off if the batteries went full charge, so the charger doesn't overcharges them if I put them over night. Something along like 15-20$ area? Don't want to throw tons of money on a charger, although I want to make use out of these batteries too, lol. Been charging these crappy Ultrafire batteries thru the flashlight charging port with that shitty 1$ wall charger lol, takes them forever to charge, like 6-12hrs. Found the ones you recommended on mnt electronics "http://www.mtnelectronics.com/index...uct&product_id=167&search=panasonic+ncr18650b", I'm using button tops, not sure if flat tops would reach each end.

These panasonic 3400 unprotected go for 8$, been using my ultrafires, I'm sure they are as well, haven't had any problems with them besides being fake/not holding long while in use, or should I waste 1.65$ extra for Protected cells? Unless there is elsewhere that I could buy these cheaper, higher cap, protected, trusted dealer.

Sanyo/Pansonic 3500 protected go for 9.95$ http://www.mtnelectronics.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=289&search=18650&page=2

For charger I thought maybe get this "http://www.mtnelectronics.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=79&product_id=591", or "http://www.mtnelectronics.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=79&product_id=417", Unless you have a better charger in mind?

Wanted it to charge them as fast they possibly can without damaging the batteries, have some sort of overcharge/etc protection, full charge cut off, etc, neat feature that shows you that batteries r full. Looked at amazon, was hard to find something, lots of people said, that sellers would send them garbage chargers even though they purchased Nitecore chargers, etc.

Yes i should of noticed the small button top in the pic, so in regards to which cell to choose i would go with either, what ever suits your budget, i have both which are very similar in capacity. In real terms you probably wouldnt notice much extra run time using the 3500, but they are currently one of the best available.

Also measure the length and width of your cells and check the cell carrier just to confirm they will fit. These newer cells can be pretty big and wide- I see the 3500 you linked are listed at 69mm length. Prices are ok.

With the charger the xtar vc11 plus master would be my pick out of those two as its faster- can charge 2 cells at once at 1 amp [ 1000ma an hour] where the vc2 is 0.5 amp charge rate if memory serves me correctly. 1 amp charge rate is is gentle on these new cells and is recommended by most.

If you do not mind waiting 2 weeks for delivery, for some real good prices and genuine products i get a bit of stuff from fasttech.

Looked at Fasttech, like you recommended if you wanted to save money on batteries. Put 4 sayno 3500 in cart for 20$, then went to check out, and got 21$ shipping fee, no free option like they advertise, 41$ total came out for 4 batteries, so I was looking to buy same batteries here in the USA.

Found 4 batteries(sanyo 3500) + charger(Xtra vc2 plus master) on "www.illumn.com" for 50.10$, and "www.imrbatteries.com" for 51.85$ same batteries and charger in cart with shipping.

10-12$ Cheaper than "mtnelectronics.com".

What was added to cart: 4 x Sanyo NCR18650GA 18650, Xtra vc2 plus master+shipping+tax if any
