I got the Surefire Z48 tailcap years ago, maybe 7 years ago, did not like it, put it away. Now fast-forward almost a decade and it first the Malkoff Hound Dog perfectly, since I installed a thicker rubber grip on the body. I could not have foreseen it.
A lot of things that happen in our lives are of a providential nature. I am amazed how, something, not significant at the time will make sense much later.
And if you analyze your life, it's full of seemingly disconnected events like that. The job you take, or don't take, or get fired from you leads to A, to B, then to Z.
