SureFire P2X fury defender

I removed the head from my SureFire fury and concerned about a scratch on the gold ring that circles the circuit board. I'm guessing the silver metallic ring that sits on top of the gold ring is the culprit. Should I be concerned?

No, the gold ring is the -ve feed to the driver. The silver loose ring makes a secure contact with the body tube and gets crushed between the driver board and the body. There will necessarily be some scratching. It's a loop around the board so it's very unlikely (unless you persist in removing and replacing the head) that it will sever. If it proves a problem, just drop a bit of solder on the crack.
