Actual best 5mm LED in 2017 ?

Been out of the 5mm LED scene since 3-4 years. What is currently the best/brightest 5mm LED I can find? I want to upgrade my daughter's Dorcy 3 x AAA flashlight.

Of course, it would be easier to just change the light but she loves it because it's pink...:ironic:

Yeah... I'll try to convince my princess... I already bought her a pink/red Nitecore Tube but she keeps coming back to her old pink 3 x AAA Dorcy :ohgeez:

. She said that's the first light I bought her and she will always like it. Kids...

The Worm seems interesting but I think I would prefer an AA based light. She will often use it on max and will leave it on in the tent so longer runtime might be a good idea.

good cri and nice near neutral color around 5000k.

try stuffing an 18650 or if not enough length an 18500 in her light.
better runtime and the leds i linked earlier do fine dd on li ion.
9 led hf freebies with the board set forward run dd on 18650 and the above leds will nicely flood a large room.
something previously unheard of with such a light.
