Tail cap comes loose...

I have a new Streamlight ProTac 1L-1AA dual fuel. And several times now (in the past week that I've had it) when I go to turn it on it jumps from constant to strobe to low constant because the battery isn't getting good contact. I tighten the tail cap back down and it functions normally... any suggestions to keep it snug? Other than this I'm loving the light so far.

I don't know the light, but as a general rule try stretching the springs a bit to keep the battery firm.
If the tailcap comes loose on its own, try fitting a slightly larger o ring.

I've used pipe thread tape on a couple of ProTac models because the o-ring didn't put up enough resistance that the tail cap would loosen enough to make the light not work.
Thusfar my dual fuel 1L has not been plagued by that as it seems to have an oversized red o-ring. But I'll watch out for that.
Did yours come with a red o-ring? Perhaps it crushes over time and doesn't rebound like it should. My ProTacs with red o-rings have held up well, but the black ones seem to be too thin or don't rebound anymore.
