Vaporizer battery + XHP70 = pocket rocket, right?

Hi, got an idea for my first mod. I have Innokin COOL FIRE IV PLUS vaporizer battery (3300 mAh, 2.0v – 7.5v, 6w – 70w, 510 thread) and I just saw this 510 connector Cree XM-L2 T6 3-Mode 800-Lumen so since the battery conveniently has voltage/wattage control I expect my future mod would benefit from having fully regulated constant brightness through battery cycle. I thought I might use a powerful 6V 32W XHP70 bin, because why not, it's gonna be just 15 sec bursts since the battery has a time limiter anyway. Think would be great for use in photography, illuminating all around a dark scene on long exposure shots with that mod, perfect for that 15 sec time limit. I need only one mode, that is max output.

Can I wire the led directly without any driver, I guess there is a driver already in the mod, so no need for another one, am I right?
If I set a mod in variable voltage mode and fix it to lets say 6.5V (or even to maximum 7.5V maybe?), is there any danger of led taking too much current this way and burning out?

Will the mod power up once I put my led instead of an atomizer? I tried with a small 3.3V incandescent bulb and it lights up fine. My mod takes coils in 0.1-3.5ohm range.

Thanks!

Here's the lamp:
