I had someone email me and say I purchased something and it charged their PayPal account. They wanted me to contact them or they were going to the police. Definitely paid out of my account and deleted that email.

Scams are everywhere.
Watched one day as a guy was scamming an elderly woman out of $25,000 at her home.
He was smoother than butter and I knew what was going on but he had her totally charmed and she actually got annoyed with my suggestion that he was up to no good.
She told me she could take care of herself and pretty much showed me the door.
Found out about a year later that sure enough, he had taken her to the cleaners.
Sometimes there is absolutely nothing you can do to help people.

Thanks for this.

Yesterday my coworkers company gas card was charged $350 for fuel in 6 states away, and later another $500 on the opposite coast of America.

He found out because when he actually went to get fuel the card had been locked out. In both cases they used his 6 digit pin.

Remember when people used to leave the carbons behind at the merchants?
The only card I have is a Bluebird linked to PP,
.....load it free at Wally World when needing to buy or transfer anything online.
