Tonight I put my lumanmax lx2 head on my EL2 Outdoorsman body. I like the way they look and feel together. My question is I don't really know what lumen output I'm getting. The high is 200 and the low is 15, it's not either one. Any idea how I can figure out what the output is?

What's the power source?

In a celing bounce, there's only a fraction of a lux difference between the LX2 head on an LX2 on high and the LX2 head on an E2E Executive body when fed by a random 16650, and the 2nd measurement was lower.

I'm topping off two cells now to get a more accurate reading.

LX2 head on E2E Executive Elite body fed by a fully charged 16650 did 63.8 lux.
LX2 head on LX2 body on high fed by a fully charged 16650 did 63.0 lux.

LX2 head on E2E Executive Elite body fed by 2 CR123s at 3.115 volts resting did 70.5 lux.
LX2 head on LX2 body on high fed by 2 CR123s at 3.115 volts resting did 69.7 lux.

These are in no way visible differences. My guess is that the LX2's tailcap has a bit more resistance than the E2E's Z57.

Would an M61 run at full lumens on the LX2?

I guess you're referring to the use of a VME head.

That will depend on the power source. In a side by side comparison, it may be slightly less bright from a 16650 than from two CR123s or two RCR123s.
