Wow. I was just talking today with my father in law about the greatest instrumental rock songs...
Jessica, in memory of Elizabeth reed, revival. They all make the top ten, maybe the top five.
another of the true greats is now gone at just 69 years old.

He will be missed, and remembered forever.

There was nothing like the old Allman Brother Band doing 9-20 jam songs that were so sweet sounding. Gregg had such a raw voice nothing like the Blues

Desdemona is a favorite of mine but there are so many enduring and iconic songs that the Allman Brothers are maybe my #1 band of all time, certainly in the top 5.

Duane,Butch and now Greg all taken too soon.
But at least they are back together again!

Luckily the rest are just as amazing and this band seems to create legends in the history of the rock world.

They can not stop the Midnight Rider.

Dawg-gonnit!! Another great one gone.

I liked his solo tune Brother to Brother.

But yeah when they put Derek Truks out front on lead guitar, that.... was a great idea.

Gregg Allman... Rest in Peace brutha. You made a difference while you were here.
