Yes, yes, and yes. This light has the best, deepest reflector. I have sputtered a few to use with 1, 3, and 5 watt luxeons. It is my favorite reflector bar none. It fits in PR and Pr-T heads with a couple extra o-rings.
The light is very simple to mod.
Un-screw the head and the metal ring inside.
Take needle nose pliers and lift up the round metal plate the luxeon is sitting on.
Now use the pliers to reach in and pull out the whole assembly (switch and all).
Under the board the switch is mounted on there is a resistor.
Pull it off and solder in a piece of wire or put solder all the way across to complete the circuit. It will now be direct drive....and lots brighter.
Then put it back together or swap out the luxeon for a better one. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
