Do we even know whether it is a HD or LD LED? And what are the details of the Luxeon Star 4 watter (T4)?

A very strange dark place
I'll take a T3 although the XO looks interesting. With the Luxeon III LEDs, I know the bin will be a minimum of S (equivalent of a Q bin for 1.2 watters) it is also a high dome so things get interesting.
I really would like to see how the XO fares, it reminds me of the X1 but with far more power. Inova, Pelican and Streamlight have brought out some interesting lights this year.

Geepondy, the Luxeon Star "4 watter" is probably a Luxeon III driven a little harder. Figure the T3 runs around a 3.7 forward voltage at 700mA for around 2.6 watts. The T4 has a higher forward voltage due to more mA being pushed through it. Figure a forward voltage of 4.0 volts at 1,000mA for 4 watts.
The T4 looks to be a bomb-proof light for LEOs.
