Thanks for the heads up.

I really like the direction Acebeam is heading. This past year or two they have been killin' it!

Any item that has same head diameter as body diameter satisfies my definition of the word "compact", as far as "compact flashlight" goes.

Make it, if need be, 51 mm head diameter and same body diameter and partially overlapping reflector wells triple in XHP70.2, for max blast power, and another version with triple partially overlapping reflector wells in XHP35 for throw, please.

Acebeam has updated the K30 page with additional information and specs.

Max beam distance: 374 meters
Peak beam intensity: 35000cd
Firefly mode: 2 lumens
Strobe: 2500 lumens

And no SOS.

Looks like it will be a nice simple compact flooder.

Thanks Overclocker, great pics!

Any chance you could explain how the UI works?

What are your thoughts on the switch? How much pressure does it require?

UI is great:

short press: memorized level
press-and-hold: direct to moon from off. cycles levels when on
double click: direct to HIGH from anywhere
triple click: direct to strobe from anywhere

MAX requires a specific timing just like on the X45. basically it prevents idiots from accessing it LOL

button is stainless steel w/ a very premium feel. requires a bit more force compared to other flashlights

Thank you. Sounds very nice.

Is it a long press for off?

Is the memorized level the last used level before powering off?

1. Single (short) click to turn on/off.
2. Firefly, Turbo, Turbo Max and Strobe won't be memorized.
