Looking for info on MT2A operation

Greetings. I've been searching here, google and on Amazon but I cannot find some specific info on the MT2A operation.

With head loosened you cycle through modes with taps, got that. Then when you tighten it goes to turbo. When you loosen after that, what mode will you be in? Some people are saying you'll be in High while others say you'll be in the mode you selected for the "loosened" mode. Can anyone clarify and maybe why people are saying otherwise on Amazon, maybe counterfeits or bunk gear?
