17 5mm LED\'s off 6volts DD OMG......
I was Playin with some super brights and stuck 17 of em in a 2D cell light...
on 2D's It is not as bright as my 9 LED mod on a DD 3D M@g but it still put out decent light.
the /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin07.gif was on my shoulder and they were in reach.....
with a 3>d adaptor and a D-cell holy crap it's bright.... I just ran it for a few seconds cause we all know it way over driven. but OMG wow...
I'm gonna try a Resistor or just run 2 3>d's in parallel. it should still be nutso bright...
then on to the 21 LED and then the 28 LED head (wow 28 Leds off 6 volts..... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif )
how long do you think the LED's on 6 volts would last (a cuple hundred hours with 30-40 sec bursts at a time?) I have the cathode's sinked and the LED lens is sinked as well...
