If it were the "D" or "F" model I would probably buy it. The timing's perfect as I've been wondering what I would do when I came across a spare $9 mil. The "C" model is just so, well...ARC LS rev 1'ish. It doesn't pack all the goodies of the current model.

I can see it now: I buy an F-18c and my neighbor one-ups me with an F-15e. I would then have to sell the F-18c and find a clean, low mile F-18e/f. It's just not worth it trying to keep up with the Jones's.

They also have 2 Mig 29's for sale. Someone should buy these up and have weekend dogfight parties with their buddies. I know I would if I had a spare $20-30 million laying around.

The winner of the F-18 needs to get in touch with the winner of the aircraft carrier!

Looks like the F/A-18 auction got canceled by eBay.
The MIGs are still there though
