hello everyone i want to know what do you think of the torch surefire az2s?
is a good model for collection?
is it a difficult model to find right?

If YOU like the looks of it and have the money go for it. You can't go too wrong with a Surefire. I would consider some other things first--first real light? What are you going to use the "tactical" features for? Can you get a better beam, color temp, and customer support elsewhere?

The Surefire name carries a hefty price. I would consider other lights as well--any Malkoff will be nuke proof and provide any color temp you want with a perfect beam...but I am biased

The SF AZ2-S has been discontinued ... as to collectibility, I would put this into the "low supply, low demand" category.

Probably because of the strobe mode, I dont think this was ever very popular.

That said, it does have a very distinctive feature set, and if that happens to suit your purposes, it may be an excellent torch for you.

It has the now-defunct two-level tactical type tailswitch, including low/flood and high/throw, with press for momentary and twist for constant ... and three rapid presses activate strobe.
