What\'s your favorite beer?

What's the best beer you had? If you could only choose one imported and one domestic, which would you choose?

For me

Imported
Carta Blanca (Mexico)

Domestic
MGD

How about you?

I love a local Colorado beer Fat Tire.
For the import I'll go with a Black & Tan, if that can count?

Too many to name and too many new ones being introduced. Now if your going to ask about Scotch...you'll get me almost as perplexed. As long as we're talking single malt and a minimum of twelve years...14 prefered. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Re: What\'s your favorite beer?

My favorite import would have to be Spaten Bach.
Favorite micro-brew would be Nitro Terminator Stout or Nitro Hammerhead.
chiaroscuro you should make your way to Redmond and go to the Seventh St. Brewery. They have a good mint beer in the summer.

Re: What\'s your favorite beer?

Hmmm, hard to say just one. I know that as I think about it I'll keep coming up with faves of different styles and editing them in.

American Pale Ale: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Trappist: Chimay blue
Belgian White: Hoegaarden
Marzen: Spaten Oktoberfest
I also love Belgian Brewery's black ale (can't remember the name, something like "1454"), Hair of the Dog's Adam
I've had some awesome bocks and doppelbocks, if I remember right my faves were from Spaten but it's all hazy...

Choosing just one foreign & domestic, I'd probably pick Chimay blue and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

Re: What\'s your favorite beer?

All,
You guys are nasty.

Here in the sandbox we have a thing called "General Order Number One". It's a four page memo from the commanding generals but I can sum it down to a few words.

No booze (that includes beer)
No porn
No pork (to be traded with the locals)
and don't diddle the local women.

The last beer I had was at Bangor International around December 6th on the flight here.

Very nice people in Maine to open up a gift shop and snack bar for us.

I won't be seeing another one till the plane leaves Kuwaiti air space some time in July for a vacation in europe. I will have a little catching up to do.

When my wife annoys me I call her a 'rodent'.

So you guys are 'rodents' too for bringing up the subject of beer in Islam Land.

Be well
Jack Crow in Iraq.

I live in Germany, and have rarely run into a bad beer. Of the US domestic beers, I really like the Yuengling beer available in the northeast. For German beers, give me a nice Hefe Weizen. Kulmbacher is a good brand, but most of them are good. Ummmm....beer.....<drool>
