Black body, kroll tail, sputtered reflector, no resistor, and a Q2K high dome. The beam is very smooth, throws great, and very bright direct drive off of 3 AA's of your choice (just no lithium AA's).
$40 light + $10 Q2K + kroll + labor = I think $60 shipped sounds fair for it. Or I'll take trade offers. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin07.gif

sweet...interested in a trade for a Rayovac 3-in-1 headlamp with 1 incandescent bulb, 1 white LED & 2 red LED's + an Arc AAA with blue LED (does have wear in the finish from pocket carry).

Or, how about an brand new, without packaging, never been carried Arc AA (natural finish) + $20?

Hey G-Pilot,[slightly off topic] selling that puppy ehhh! That reminds me I need to get a kroll switch for mine. Does any kroll work with it. I tried the clickie off my Super LGI

Hey G-Pilot mebbe this would help -- I made one too, and with a Q3J High Dome it puts out 2500 lux from one meter. A thick beast in a thin package. I replaced my side switch with a Kroll too, easier to feel for in the dark (when else do you ever need to turn on a light?).

It is so good (and runs on common AAs to boot) that I will not sell mine...

Have you tried direct driving a 3w Luxeon in the SL 3AA Tasklight? Mine is simalar in brightness to my FT3C. Runs 3+ hours before noticeable dimming on 2000mhr Nimh.
