So I had an old ARC LE in my shirt pocket while I just opened a can of polyurethane to do some woodfinishing, I bent down and "fwlooooop".
Since it was a full can I had to dig down to the bottom to get it and it was slippery so I dropped it three more times in the can trying to get
it out.
I got it out and wiped it off, the externals are fine except for the reflecter, which I thought I wiped
out but when I examined it later it has that sputtered look! And there a little extra "potting" around the LED.
Of course it still works as before.
