That DHT bezel really completes that "heavy" look!

This is a well balanced flashlight between flood & throw! Looks big in the picture, but it's really no bigger than the T6vn or X45vn.

Hey, you're right! I was under the impression is was going to be a huge sucker like the x65 but in comparison to that benjamin, it's not THAT ginormous. Must be something about that design that makes it look bigger that it really is.

    Comparison

    Measurements:

    Size: 189mm * 84mm * 54mm (length * head diameter * body diameter)

    7 7/16" X 3 5/16" X 2 1/8"

125mm for length[OP] is incorrect. That would make the light 4 59/64"

Thanks for the extra comparison shots and beamshots, Newlumen. I'm even closer to pulling the trigger on one of these now.

Are you using protected or unprotected cells in it?

I'm curious, this is the first time I've heard the need of protected cells for a 70.2 light.
I have seen protected cells required for 50.2 & some Nichia LED's.
    What gives?

I thought the same thing. I considered that light in the sale and then changed my mind.

Protected or Unprotected GA'S? Liionwholesale has both at Black Friday Prices. Basically selling ALL their batteries at 1000pc. wholesale prices.

EDIT: V54 told me that the carrier can take up to 69.65mm. The GA Protected are listed as 69.70mm on Liionwholesale website. MJ1 listed at 69.6mm

Unprotected high drains will hurt the 70.2 in the MT35vn. Run at your own risk.

Is the batter carrier exactly the same dimensions as the Astrolux MF02?
