Another classic Surefire The 6BL...

Found one of these, and must say, it's a tank.

Several years ago, Surefire modified a 6P with a shock isolated bezel, a body that's at least 2-3times thicker than a standard 6P, and a tailcap that has a side-mounted momentary-only switch (the only SF light to ever have a side-mounted switch, as far as I know). The lamp side is machined so that the batteries cannot be removed from that side of the light, only through the tail end.

The light was designed to be the end-cap to an ASP expandable baton.

So, I put a clickie switch (that mounts flush to the body's diameter) and a current M2 bezel, to make a serious 2-cell tank of a light. Pics will be on my Yahoo sight, shortly...
