LED Lenser H14R.2 rotating the lamp head

Hi,

My new LED Lenser H14R.2 and I'm figuring out all about it.
The lamp head can be tilted, can be pulled in our out, but it can also be rotated. What's gained by rotating the lamp head?

Probly to focus from flood to throw.

Hey OP. I have BOTH the old H14R LED Lenser headlamp AND the new 1000 lumen H14R2. Rotating the head makes it easier to manipulate with work gloves. They BOTH do that. What the point of it is is to be able to manipulate it EASIER IN THE DARK.

I actually use these headlamps for contract work from time to time. Gloves. If you are underground let alone out in foul weather etc. most folks that buy the Lenser headlamps is because when they use them they have thick gloves on. The turning lamp function just makes adjusting the focus easier with gloves on.
