Hi everybody !
Great forum ! i found many useful thinks ! thanks for that.
I have a thought about buying a cheap ebay flashlight. but i have some questions.

1: sst-90 vs xhp 50.2 wich to prefer?
2: i found a torch with xhp50.2 powered by one 1860 or 26650. is that possible??? i think that 50.2 is 6v.
3: did anyone try to make custom an ultrafire 501D or C8 with two 18650 and xhp50.2 ?it will work?

I already own a C8 and 501B with xml-u2 but i am looking for somthing stronger. My diving xhp70 is to big and heavy.
Thanks for reading !

Re: A little help please !

Regarding Question 2: I assume you mean one 18650 or one 26650(original post said 1860). It is very possible to use an 18650 Cell in a 26650 size flashlight. A number of adapters are available to allow an 18650 to not rattle in a 26650 housing. I use plastic "Star" shaped adapters if I am in the field and run out of 26650's. Their voltages are the same(3.6-4.2Volts each), but the 26650 has a longer runtime depending on the ratings. Be sure to only use batteries that are similar in rating, ie don't replace a high drain 26650 with a lesser rated 18650. I will allow others to answer your remaining questions.

yes i mean 18650 ! . but my question is if its possible a 3.7-4.2 single battery could work with xhp 50.2 that is working 6volt. I found a flashlight with this set up.
Thanks for your answer !
