When did SF start putting CAUTION: HOT SURFACE on their lights?

I'm trying to get a relative age for a C2 I just picked up. It has a beautifully sterile head, without the idiot warnings. I know they started putting the CAUTION: HOT SURFACE by 2010 at the latest as my first SureFire, a 6PL I bought in January 2011, has the markings.

Just another data point: the 6P I bought in 2011 had a press fit bezel and no such warning. I don't know its manufacture date and it's possible it was on the shelf in the store for a while.

It may vary depending on how hot the light gets - I've got Surefires from 2005 and 2011 with the markings, and one from 2019 without
